Private Mineral Exploration in British Columbia
Foxtail Resource Corp is a private mineral exploration company presenting properties held in the Nechako region of British Columbia.
Foxtail Resource Corp presents a suite of mineral properties in the Nechako Basin of British Columbia totaling nearly 3,000 hectares. The Nechako is an underexplored district situated between established mining camps, Endako to the east, Equity Silver to the west, and Blackwater to the south. With road accessible ground and significant areas still covered by glacial till, the Nechako continues to offer low cost discovery potential that has been largely overlooked.
Properties
Foxy Creek Group
The Foxy Creek Group is located in the Buck Creek volcanic belt, approximately 1.5 km northeast of Newmont’s past producing Equity Silver Mine. The claims sit directly on strike with Equity’s main ore zones and share the same Eocene volcanic setting inside the Buck Creek resurgent caldera. Equity produced roughly 71 million ounces of silver, 508,000 ounces of gold, and 185 million pounds of copper between 1981 and 1994. The property benefits from existing geophysical data and potential future infrastructure synergies with the nearby Equity site.
Paddy Carroll Group
The Paddy Carroll Group represents a rare surface exposure of prospective geology in the Nechako Basin, an area largely covered by glacial till. The claims host a gossanous quartz sulfide vein system that has returned elevated zinc, lead, and antimony values from recent sampling, with historic road cut samples from the same showing confirming lead-zinc-silver-copper mineralization. The property remains early stage and largely untested, offering a low cost, road accessible target in a district that has seen limited modern exploration.
Boss Group
The Boss Project is located in the Southbank, Danskin area and covers part of a major northwest trending shear zone approximately 2 km wide and over 6 km long. Hosted in mafic volcanic rocks with associated intrusions, the claims contain a prominent quartz-ankerite-mariposite (listwanite) alteration zone that has historically returned gold values up to 1.54 g/t. The geological setting is a direct analogue to the past producing Snowbird Mine. The property is bisected by a paved highway with good secondary road access and nearby three phase power potential, providing upside exploration conditions for the region.
George Group
The George Group is an early stage epithermal gold silver copper target located 30 km southwest of Fraser Lake and directly adjacent to Rokmaster Resources’ Fox-Coconut property, where high grade samples have been reported. The claims host fault breccias with manganese stained matrices and rhyolite dykes. Historical rock sampling at Black Point returned strongly anomalous copper and silver values. Excellent road access via existing forest service and haul roads supports exploration in this district near the Endako mine.
