The Boss Project is located in the Southbank / Danskin area and covers part of a major northwest-trending shear zone approximately 2 km wide and over 6 km long. Hosted in mafic volcanic rocks with associated intrusions, the claims contain a prominent quartz-ankerite-mariposite (listwanite) alteration zone that has historically returned gold values up to 1.54 g/t. The geological setting is a direct analogue to the past-producing Snowbird Mine.

Historical exploration in the Southbank/Danskin area dates back to at least the early 1980s. The 1980 Minister of Mines Annual Report records a sample from a shear zone that returned 1.7% copper, 19.20 g/t silver and 0.69 g/t gold. In 1987 the Boss claims were staked as part of the Nechako Joint Venture (Imperial Metals, Atna Resources and Interaction Resources). That program included geological mapping, trenching, chip sampling and soil sampling, and identified a multi-kilometre northwest-trending shear zone as the principal control on mineralization. Reconnaissance work by Takara Resources in 2008 confirmed intense sulfide mineralization along structural trends near the original showing. The overall setting — mafic volcanics cut by a major shear zone and overprinted by listwanite alteration — is recognized as a direct analogue to the past-producing Snowbird Mine, which saw underground development and limited production of antimony and gold in the 1930s and 1940s.

The property is bisected by a paved highway with good secondary road access and nearby three-phase power, providing unusually low-cost exploration conditions for the region.
